Q5  請問如何將購買紀錄同步到同帳號的另一支手機

Q11  閉氣後鬼差還是會抓到我

Q12  最後章節的選項都選對卻無法進入劇情分歧
進入劇情分歧的方法,除了第四章節對話選項都選對之外,還需要收集齊全第四章節地上的文件才有辦法啟動劇情分歧。

Q13  遊戲無法全螢幕,旁邊有黑邊。
關於畫面周圍黑邊的問題,因為返校遊戲原始的電腦版本中畫面都是針對16:9的比例去設計的,直接改變比例會影響到視覺構圖跟遊戲中的提示引導,不得已下我們才選擇使用黑邊去做處理。如造成困擾還請見諒。
Q14   已經購買完整版但是遊戲沒有解鎖
請檢查遊戲主選單左下角是否還有『購買完整版』的按鈕,如果還在就是購買過程出現錯誤,請將Google Play訂單收據跟主畫面未解鎖的截圖寄至 googleplay-support@redcandlegames.com 我們將協助您進行退款以利重新購買。
Q1  Start the game but only see the black screen
There are many possibilities that might cause this issue. The most common one is that other apps in the background have taken up too much memory of your device. Q3  No sound in the game
The following is the standard debug flow
1. Check if your device is turned into silent or vibrant mode. If so, turn on the sound by switching off the mute button (usually it is at the side of your device)
2. Check if your device’s volume is set higher than zero.
3. Restart the device and reoperate the game.

If the abovementioned steps cannot resolve your issue, please contact us at googleplay-support@redcandlegames.com with the following information, so that we could identify the problem and find the possible solution for you. Thank you.
(1) If there is sound after plugging in the earphones
(2) If the sound works fine for other games with your device
(3) Your device model
Q4  Unable to retrieve saved progress
This issue occurs when the save file is destroyed. We kindly suggest you go back to the chapter selection in the main menu, and restart from the chapter you wish to proceed. Although this action will result in the loss of part of your playing progress, the progress before the selected chapter shall all be automatically saved in the system. (When each chapter is completed, the game automatically saves your progress.) We apologize for the playing inconvenience.
Q5  How to sync the game to another device with the same account
The issue of unsynchronized account purchase appears in certain devices. If you would like to play the game with two different devices under the same account, please contact us at googleplay-support@redcandlegames.com with the information of your order receipt from Google Play. We will process your old device’s refund. The refund will be processed without revoking the game. In this way, you could use your account to repurchase the game from the new device, and keep the game in your old device at the same time.
Q6  The game cannot be fully unlocked after the purchase
If you cannot unlock the game due to an unknown reason, we kindly suggest you to make a refund and repurchase the full version. Q7  Game crashes due to unknown reason
There are many possibilities that might cause this issue. The most common one is that other apps in the background have taken up too much memory of your device. Q8  Being charged double payment when purchasing the full version
Please check your linked google account’s mailbox. If you only receive one order, the payment is charged for one time only. If you do receive two orders, please contact us at googleplay-support@redcandlegames.com with the reference of your two orders. We will assist you with the refund process.
Q9  Unable to purchase the game due to device incompatibility.
At the moment, we notice that certain devices have game crashing and black screen issues. In order to avoid unsatisfying playing experience, we delisted these devices from the compatible list at Google Play Store. Once our tech support team resolve the issues, the game will become available for these devices. If you already purchase the full version, please kindly contact us at googleplay-support@redcandlegames.com with the information of your device model and order reference so that we could assist you with the refund.
Q10  Nothing happens after clicking the “Buy the full version” button
Due to unknown reason, certain devices cannot purchase the game at the moment. Our tech support team is working now to resolve the bug.

Here are two known solutions:
(1) Make the purchase after restarting your device.
(2) Make the purchase after updating your device and Google Play to the latest version.

If the adovementioned solutions cannot resolve your issue, please contact us at

Q11  Holding breath does not work for the Lantern Spector
Please refer to the note about the Lantern Spector. In order to avoid him, holding breath is not the only condition.
Q12  All answers selected correctly in the final chapter but unable to initiate the different ending
To enter the different ending, besides answering all the dialogues correctly in the Chapter 4, another determining condition is to collect all of the notes in this chapter.
If the abovementioned conditions are satisfied but you still cannot initiate the different ending, please contact us at googleplay-support@redcandlegames.com in order for us to resolve the issue.
Q13  Unable to enter full screen mode. Black bars appears at the sides.
Regarding the black bars issue, that is the result of Detention PC version’s original ratio being 16:9. As changing the ratio will affect both the composition as well as the visual hints in the game, we have no choice but to keep the original ratio. We apologize for the playing inconvenience.
Q14   Already purchase the full version but the game is not unlocked
Please go back to the main menu and check if the “Buy full version” button is still at the bottom-left corner. If you still see it, it might result from the failure of purchasing process. Q1  遊戲語言切換成繁體中文
返校預設會使用Steam的語言設定,如果你的Steam初始設定是使用英文,但你想使用中文遊玩,請先關閉遊戲,在Steam Library中,對著『返校』按右鍵 → Properties → Language → 繁體中文
Q2  遊戲打不開或遊玩中不明原因當機
造成這個問題的可能原因很多,以下為標準除錯流程:
1.更新顯示卡驅動,並確認遊戲執行時顯示卡有打開。
2.更新Windows。
3.安装DirectX修復工具。
4.有些防毒軟體會將遊戲誤判成病毒,試著將返校設定成防毒軟體的例外。
5.重開電腦。
Q3  Mac遊戲畫面有殘影
這是目前在新版Mac上才會產生的bug,目前有個臨時措施可以修復,就是暫時將遊戲設定成視窗模式畫面就會恢復正常造成不便十分抱歉,我們會盡快修復這個Bug。
Q4  遊戲破圖
請確認電腦規格是否有符合最低硬體需求,如果符合,可以試著更新顯示卡驅動程式,或者將解析度調整至1920x1080以下!有可能是顯示卡記憶體不足。
Q5  找不到音樂原聲帶(Original Sound Track)
Steam Preference → Music → 打勾Scan Steam folders for soundtracks → 點擊Scan Now之後Sound Track會出現在Steam Music內。
Q6  沒有信用卡如何在Steam上購買返校
如果沒有信用卡的話,Steam也能用超商購買的MyCard,或是英特衛代理的爭氣卡來儲值點數,使用方式請參考網頁說明:

Q7  請問如何在不同裝置間同步記錄檔
不同作業系統無法同步,如果是同一個作業系統(windows ←→ windows或Mac ←→ Mac) 只要對遊戲按右鍵,Properties,啟動Steam Cloud即可。

大家的熱情讓我們受寵若驚,以下說明希望有助於創作者及社群的理解與配合。請明白如果創作內容不符下述所說,亦或者我們認為你以不正當的方式使用赤燭遊戲的智慧財產,我們將保留隨時終止你散布作品的權利。


什麼是『玩家創作』?

泛指玩家使用、借鑒、啟發自赤燭遊戲旗下相關產品的名稱、品牌、角色而創作的全新內容。包含但不限於圖像、網站、維基百科、工具程式、應用程式(包含桌機及行動平台)、遊戲模組、手工藝、玩具及影片。


『玩家創作』需要遵守的三大原則!

原則1:清楚表明該內容是你的個人創作,而非來自官方或與官方合作。

原則2:保持開放、接納、友善的態度,別造成社群的困擾。

原則3:遵守每款遊戲本身的服務條款以及商標的使用規範。


我們允許的『玩家創作用途』?

‧ 個人使用
如果是只限於個人使用的話完全沒問題,但還是要遵守我們的三大原則。

‧ 公開使用
想要跟其他人 『免費』 分享你的創作也是可以的,但務必遵守我們的三大原則。

‧ 商業使用
商業使用表示你藉由你的『玩家創作』獲得金錢或其他物質 ∕ 非物質回報。這點是不被允許的,除非你符合以下三點例外:

手作物
如果你是親手(非外包或生產線)製作了少量的商品,只要遵守三大原則,就可以進行販售。如果你不確定你的創作是否符合我們對『手作物』的定義,請務必跟我們聯絡。(我們也很期待看見你的創作!)

印刷物
在遵守三大原則的情況下,創作者可委託店家少量印製書本、海報、紙卡等平面物,並以實體擺攤形式進行小規模販售。

Youtube實況影片收益
在遵守三大原則的前提下,你可以上傳遊戲相關創作影片到網路平台(例:Youtube或Twitch),甚至設定置入平台廣告。但希望你可以考慮把遊戲的Steam購買連結或官方網站連結放到影片說明之中,這對我們有很大的幫助。

We’ve been receiving questions from the community asking if they could create their own works using our games. We are flattered by those requests and at the same time feel obligated to help you clarify a few things before crafting your own amazing creations.

The following is the information about the rules of Player Creation, function as a basic guideline stating the can and cannot do with our softwares. Please kindly take note that if your Player Creation does not go by the following rules, or if we find it utilizes Red Candle Games’ intellectual property inappropriately, we remain the right to terminate your work’s distribution.


What Is Player Creation?

The original content that the player create with the use, reference and inspiration from Red Candle Games’ product, game title, brand, character, etc. Player Creation includes but not limited to fan-art, fan-sites, wikis, tools, apps (desktop and mobile), game mods, crafts, toys or video content.


Rules of Player Creation

< Rule No.1 > Clearly state that it is your own creation, meaning it does not relate to the official content nor official partnership.

< Rule No.2 > Keep an open-minded, welcoming and respectful attitude. In short, don’t be a troublemaker.

< Rule No.3 > Follow each game’s Term of Service and Red Candle Games trademarks’ Terms of Use.


What You Can Do with Player Creation

< Personal Use >
If the creation is just for yourself, which is perfectly fine. Just remember to follow "Rules of Player Creation".

< Public Use >
We know there are times you want to publicly share your awesome Player Creation to others. You may do so as long as you follow "Rules of Player Creation".

< Commercial Use >
It is not allowed to generate revenue or receive any physical, non-physical reward through Player Creation, except for the specific situations listed below:

Handmade Produce
If you hand-made (by you personally, not in a production line nor outsourcing) produce a small amount of Player Creations, you may sale them as long as you follow "Rules of Player Creation".

If you are not sure whether your creation can be considered as handmade produce, please contact us. (Feel free to share your creation to us. We will be super happy to see it!)

Youtube Video Streaming Monetization
If you want to create video content with Red Candle Games’ titles, upload it to video sharing and streaming sites (e.g. Youtube or Twitch), and add ads on it, it is totally cool with us as long as you follow "Rules of Player Creation". We will be grateful if you consider adding a link to Steam’s store page or to our official website. That will be of great help to us!

Q1  Switch the language setting
The default language setting of Detention is the same as Steam. If you want to switch the language, please shut down the game first. Then, go to “Steam Library” -> Right click “Detention” -> Click “Properties” -> Choose “Language”
Q2  Unable to open the game / Crush during the gameplay
There are many possible reasons causing this, here is the standard debug flow.
1.Update graphic card driver, make sure it runs during the gameplay
2.Update Windows
3.Repair DirectX
4.Check if the anti-virus software block the game
5.Restart your computer
Q3  The game’s screen looks blurry on Mac
This is the bug that only appears on Mac’s latest version. We apologize for the inconvenience. The temporary debug procedure is to set the screen to window mode, it should run normally then.
Q4  The game’s windows doesn’t fit my computer
Please check if your computer fits the minimum system requirement. If it does, try to update your graphic card driver’s system, or adjust the resolution to 1920x1080 or below.
Q5  Unable to find the OST
Go to “Steam Preference” -> Click “Music” -> Click “Scan Steam folders for soundtracks” -> Click “Scan Now” -> Check the “Steam Music” folder
Q6  How to sync the log file among different devices
The log file can only sync with the same system (e.g. Windows to Windows, Mac to Mac). Right click the game and choose “Properties,” enable the “Steam Cloud’’ on “Update” page.
Q7  Unable to save the game progress on PS4
We are sorry to say that it is a bug that causes corruption in game’s save file. A patch will be uploaded soon. For now, here is a temporary solution. Change your PS4 language setting to English(US), and the saving files should be loaded properly then.
